A Club of Their Own: 125 Years of the Woman’s Club of Wisconsin

In 2000, I had the fortunate experience of meeting and working with writer Liza Tuttle. Our first collaboration was A Club of Their Own: 125 Years of the Woman’s Club of Wisconsin. Liza and I went on, over the years, to develop a rhythm when it came to working on projects, one that has proven to be both effective and efficient. It is gratifying when I can develop partnerships like this with independent contractors such as Liza. We rely on each other’s skills and expertise to bring the best product to our clients.

And this project brought me luck. A Club of Their Own has been the impetus for quite a few Milwaukee associations to get their own histories down on paper. Froedtert Hospital, St Joseph’s Hospital, and the Milwaukee branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) all looked for someone who could produce as beautiful a book as this one. And they found me.
